The directory

Listings are submitted by the organizations themselves. We review each one, but we can’t guarantee every detail is current. A “Verified” badge means we confirmed the organization’s tax-exempt status when it was added; it is not an endorsement. Check any organization before you give.

Submitting a listing

Only submit a listing you’re allowed to speak for, with accurate information. We may edit listings for clarity, decline them, or remove them at any time, for example if they are inaccurate, misleading or not a nonprofit.

Donations to listed nonprofits

Donate and volunteer buttons on listings take you to each organization’s own site. Nonprofitz doesn’t process or hold those donations and isn’t responsible for how they’re used.

Gifts to Nonprofitz INC are processed by Zeffy, which issues your tax receipt. Questions about a gift? Contact us.

The Toolkit

Toolkit links point to outside resources we find useful. We aren’t affiliated with them, and nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your situation.

Backup Crew services

Quotes are estimates. Paid work is covered by a separate written agreement that spells out scope, price and timing.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site: no spam, scraping for spam lists, fake listings, or attempts to break or overload it.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses from using it or from relying on its listings or links.
